NIP & Biała Lista Check

NIP & Biała Lista Check verifies Polish companies against the official public registers, with no login and no API key. Give it a NIP (numer identyfikacji podatkowej), REGON or KRS number and it returns the company's VAT status from the Ministry of Finance's Wykaz podatników VAT ("Biała Lista"): Czynny (active), Zwolniony (exempt) or Niezarejestrowany (not registered), together with the registered name, address, REGON, KRS number and the bank accounts published on the list.

Before you pay an invoice it can confirm that a bank account is assigned to the contractor's NIP on the white list for a given day ("czy rachunek jest na białej liście") and returns the Ministry's query identifier (identyfikator zapytania) to keep as proof of due diligence (należyta staranność). For B2B payments of PLN 15,000 gross or more this check matters in Poland; the plugin explains what an unlisted account can mean and reminds you to verify current rules.

For companies and associations in the National Court Register (Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy) it returns the current extract: legal form (forma prawna), registered office (siedziba), share capital (kapitał zakładowy), the rule of representation (sposób reprezentacji) and the people in the representing body (zarząd) with their functions.

It also validates identifiers offline by checksum - NIP, REGON (9 and 14 digits), KRS format and bank account numbers (NRB / IBAN PL) - so typos are caught before any register is queried.

What it does not do: it never returns PESEL numbers, does not execute payments, does not search by company name, does not query CEIDG (sole proprietorships appear only if they are on the VAT white list) and does not check non-Polish tax IDs. Data comes straight from wl-api.mf.gov.pl and api-krs.ms.gov.pl. The Ministry limits query rates; if a limit is hit, wait a moment and try again.
